I saw that one...I don't know the specifics of this bass in original state, but I know Kramer used to use a lot Schaller pickups, so I may have had a Schaller BassBucker in it originally.

I wonder how they are wired, it seems like you'd have to worry about cancellation from the angles in 2/3 of the speakers no matter what(?)

What you need to look out for, and you may already know this, is that a lot of people bring their old 400s and 800s to music stores and dump them off for pretty much nothing because the sound will cut out intermittently. It's just the effects loop send that needs to be cleaned.

so the $159 800RB showed up
today and it seems great. it fired up and sounded fine thru a 15. no apparent issues. i’m very stoked.

Damn A older one! I gotta find one of those, I have A more modern 800RB with the smaller knobs and those older ones do sound different and by different I mean better.

Is that A vista series music master ?
