The S.U.B. was the first bass that we bought for our son. He liked it cause it looked like the basses that his hero Flea played. I liked it because it was a very well made instrument that sounded great. He played it for about a year and a half and it served him well. Eventually he played my Jazz basses more and more. to the point that the S.U.B sat unused. He is saving his $ now to get an upright, so we sold the S.U.B. to jump start the upright fund. We payed $525.00 new at Guitar Center and were able to get $480.00 on E-bay. People are getting wise to the value of these basses. These will increase in value over the years to come. No doubt about it. These are one of the best bang for the buck deals ever.
