I've always liked Mikael Åkerfeldt's facial hair. Classy, yet cool! Just go to an Opeth show and see how many dudes are tryin' to rip his look off!

I think TBer James Hart (?) has a killer beard. He looks like he's a bonafide member of the Hart Foundation.
William Lee Golden from the Oak Ridge Boys rocks the best beard for Middle Earth music for sure.
Ie heard so many people say he's a dick, but hey, he produced Blood Sugar Sex Magic. He can't be all bad.

The best collection of "facial fur" could be found by The Band, and especially behind the organ, where Garth Hudson hid himself behind a nice thick beard.
Long beards don't impress me. A well-trimmed, moderate beard looks nice, but long fuzzy ones just look nasty. The Duck Dynasty look is very NON-becoming as far as I'm concerned.
I can live with ZZ Top's beards because they're actually well groomed and they're part of the act.

I like how you put yourself out there Pilgrim. I don't agree, because anyone that can grow a beard and makes the conscience choice to limit the awesome is suspect, imo, I applaud your stance.

Interesting point. It's hard for me not to be biased when discussing Duck Dynasty's beards, given I despise the people sporting them, but they're a good example of a long beard done badly. The oldest guy, the one with glasses, just does an awful job. They're just too out of control. I'm a big fan of Dave Grohl's hair combination.
Short but respectable. His head hair makes up for length.
