yea figured the new finish they used on the PDN basses would be sweet.
I personally am not a fan of glossy finish on necks.
Guessed this new finish would be a great improvement to their roasted necks.

I've got an incoming Big Al 4SSS arriving today or tomorrow. I've previously owned three Big Al 5SSS, a 5H, and a 4SSS, but have been without one for about 9 months.

I'm really looking forward to my "Green Meanie."

Just wondering what brand of flats you prefer on your Big Al.

I like 3 types of flats, and for all I know, 2 of them could be mfg. by the same company.
- Sadowsky Black Labels
- Ernie Ball Group IIIs
- Thomastik Infield Jazz Flats (pretty low tension, if you like that kind of thing)

I'll be putting EB Group IIIs on my PDN BA.

I've been using TI Jazz flats for a couple years and currently have them on a bass.

I've been meaning to order a set of Sadowsky Black Label Flats 40-100... I guess it's time.

I'll probably try the TI's on the Big Al and then compare to the Black Labels.

Your PDN2012 Big Al is amazing
