Musicman Big Al Club

Hey guys! Count me in...just got Mrfstop's white Big Al! And its a beast!

So far my favorite setting is all buttons up. And the middle soloed is a close second. Lots of tones coming of this thing. I would describe it as having underlying Fender tones with an EBMM twist on it. You can hear the stingray/sterling qualities in it especially with the rear and middle pickups on.

Anyway, can't wait to get off work and play it!

Be sure to post a pic and I'll give you a number. :)

Ta da!

AH HA as I mentioned ya gotta love the all buttons up setting :)
Even Big Poppa favors that setting and he invented the bass...hahaha :)
ENJOY that beauty my friend.
It was truly awesome working with ya on the sale. :bassist:

Premiere Dealer Network. The PDN basses for 2012 was A limited edition this year with mahogany bodies, pau ferro fretboards, stainless steel frets, roasted maple necks, and a honey burst color. The order window was in April and are starting to ship now. I ordered a 4string Big Al, and am still waiting for it.

Sounds Awesome!!
I'd like to call dibs on it if you ever get rid of it:-)

A couple of questions. I would love to try one of these out but no brick and mortar retailer seems to stock them. Anyone in the greater Los Angeles area know where I can put my hands on one to try it out?

Second, I have been reading TB for a while but I still don't understand how one orders a bass to their specs from EBMM. If I want a Candy Red Big Al with a matching headstock, do I just wait until one shows up online or at a store somewhere, or do I special order it? If the latter, from whom? EBMM, or a dealer? How does that work?

I think bass central still has a PDN Big Al 4 string SSS that has not been spoken for yet. If you really want one this might be the very small window of opportunity that won't last long.
