Alder body @ 9,65lbs - I'll keep the SSS5 mahagony but that roasted maple neck (nicked from a Ray I guess) ...

I betcha there is more than 5 My brother , but it will probably cost close to 3k so that will limit sales.

Yep, roasted neck I like it (though more cosmetic than any function) but natural finish and the weight is not a selling point for me.

But glad those are being out there now!

There's an absolutely stunning Big Al SSS in the vault, at a really good price.

If I were in the U.S. and if the damned entertainment industry would get back on it's feet, so I had some disposable income, I would snap this up.

Hopefully it goes to a good TB home.

To those who were following this project from a few months ago.

Final update before completion:

everything is done, getting a final wax and polish and it'll be on the way back to me tomorrow or the next day. Next photo will be the body and neck finally reattached then a week or two later will be the bass fully assembled and converted to black hardware.

each color (beside the hot pink) is color shifting too!

Ah, yeah I thought that might have been the one you were referring to but I was hoping maybe they had more of those old Big Al's lying around in the shop. That one had sold within hours of being listed on their reverb page. I was going to buy it when I first saw it but it was already sold.

Yeah, I saw that one too. I messaged the guy and told him I'd buy it if he'd ship it to Canada. Hoping he changes his mind and decides to ship it.
