Why do I get the feeling that it'd just be easier to order them straight from Musicman than it would be waiting for one to pop up at TPB/PC....

Due to financial constraints I won't be getting one for a while. Meaning I can wait for the (hypothetical) used market I'll still be GASing for a white HSS 5er until I get one.

I'd definitely save up for one of these but $2100 USD is WAY out of my price range as a poor college student. Now if we'd been talking Stingray/Sterling price range, I'd be ordering one next July.

Hard to tell. I have still yet to see a bongo 6, big al 5, or a reflex in my usual haunts that stock EBMM products (ie my local GC stores), though I haven't been to the boston store in a few months. I'd love to play one of these - I'm especially interested in the big al 5 - but can never find one. Hopefully it's not because they're not selling
