My '88 is 9 lbs, 5 ounces. According to my bath scale. So maybe give or take an ounce.

Yeah, mine is heavier than some. I don't mind though as most of my basses are around 10". Still almost 2 pounds less than my '73 Ps

So after 32 years keeping it all together I finally broke down and messed with the mute. The pad under the G has somehow grown taller(?) and was beginning to rub the string even in the lowest position. I pried it loose and stuck the pad in the freezer for about 10 minutes and it got good and stiff. I sliced off about 1/3 of the material and with some contact cement it's back in business.

Are you guys still taking applications for the club? I just got this and I dont understand why this model is not more popular. Feels great and has a lot of great sounds. The build is incredible, it has a huge piece of rosewood, and looks really cool.

We are still taking applications. There is a bit of an initiation process, though. Give me a minute to assemble the Council of Elders and to clean and sterilize the....umm..."implements" and we'll get right back to you. In the meantime, you might want to work on your pull-ups.
