So do you have to re-up every time a new thread starts? I know my number will still be the same. Here are my Stingrays.

The first is my 2010 Stingray 4 Classic that is the Breast Cancer Awareness Bass made for me after my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. It is now used to help raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research. The next is my 2009 Stingray 4H that I bought new last year.

That neck and headstock is gorgeous. Love the wood on the headstock and I really like the matte finish on the neck.

Is that a special version? I'm a noob so forgive me if I should be more aware.

Hey thanks!
This is a 2009 "BFR" ( Ball Family Reserve ) Stingray.
Color is Ice Blue, with blue swirl pickguard.

The neck is solid rosewood, rather than the usual maple.
They keep the headstock natural rosewood and finish it glossy....
The give the neck a natural smooth hand rubbed oil/wax finish.
The neck is like glass and plays amazingly!!!

They did not make many of these, so it is not common to find one out there in the used marketplace.
I found mine as brand new old stock at a music store EBMM Dealer in Nashville online. Never displayed or played!

My friend Markus just bought the "twin" of this one...you can see pics here in this thread of his...his is an HS version of mine.

Hope this helps answer your question :) Thanks again.

Beautiful basses!

I've got a 20th anniversary model. It was the last new one Guitar Center had in stock. Had them ship it from Chicago to Orange County back before they did that kind of thing. Survived a house fire (plane landed in the house) where I lost two other basses, two SVTs, all the band's gear.

I don't know if I have a pic.
