^^ plus, funkize you, if you put new strings on, that is probably the reason for the fretbuzz. different gauge, different tension, need adjustments.

Funkize you said:I've been playing for 4 years. The fretts were a little messed up, you could see they were a bit "Chewed" on two or three frets.

Yeah, that was the Second bass, And I said they pulled it out of the back, untouched, with new strings... I already said all that...
"What led you to believe the stingray needed a fret job? You seem a bit confused about setup issues later in the post."

But Again, I know a LOT of people like them, and I would love the chance to play a "Good" one.
Maybe I had played two bad basses, I dont know. But from MY experiance with TWO different ones, they had many problems.
And yes the Necks were actually LOSE. I have had and used some good basses and Never had any problem with them. The only other bass I ever had a problem with was a Lakland 55-94, The setup wasnt "Perfect" as I know they are supposed to be.
Maybe I have bad bass luck?
Brendan said:Wait, so "all" is two? From the same shop? I think we have the problem right here.

Funkize you said:Well, I have tried out Stingrays Many times, and disliked them every time, I really tried to like 'em but I just couldnt... When I try out a bass I use it for over an hour and seriously think about every aspect of the bass.
