Which price point were the two basses? Speaking of origin, are we talking Corona, MIM, or another country. I don't think they source wood for every J or P Bass from the same wood stockpile/ tree source.

It's difficult for me to compare an Affinity import model with an American Jazz bass on any level, whether wood, hardware, or craftsmanship.
