Absolutely. I was just reacting to calling that a 'great' video. It was quirky and opinionated, and Conrad's top choice (the JMJ) was a model he already owned and preferred -- and since he has some pull within Fender he got them to send him another JMJ to use for the video. That choice, and that closeness with Fender, seemed a little off to me, along with that inclusion a PJ variant who he then penalized for actually being a PJ.

Maybe ‘great’ wasn’t the right word. Well produced video is probably a better descriptor.
I personally ignore the opinion bias and just need to hear vids that are recorded well.
That goes for basically any tech demo for me.
Not going to fault anyone over subjective opinions (even if they are odd or quirky) or possible bias over companies they might have good relationships with.

Yeah his videos are usually «very well made. I just have to pull out a grain or two of skeptical salt when watching.

I have a Mustang Player PJ and I actually prefer the tone to my Squier P bass. I never use the J pup so it might as well not exist. I love shorties so the weight is good and the shorter scale 19 frets doesn’t bother me.
