MXR bass chorus problem

Hi, yesterday a lot of rain hit my town,
I left my window open and the rain hit my pedal board
I shake the water out of my pedals and I put rince inside of them,
My octaver, enveloppe filter and my reverb seems to work fine but my mxr chorus is not working.
The led is on, but something funny is that even if the effect is on, i can still hear my bass but the signal is now affected by the chorus, why ???
Thanks you
Guillaume

I don't know but open it up and let it dry all the way. btw, to say "i can still hear my bass but the signal is now affected by the chorus" sounds like it's working fine. I assume you mean effected other than chorusing, like distorting?

My sound was clean but he wasnt affected by the chorus!
I openened it all and I rinsed with an alcool pad and it seems to work now.
Thanks you.
But meanwhile my reverb seems to clip and I press the switch? Should I clean the inside too ?

I don't know that I'd be using an alcohol pad in my pedals, but I'd definitely open it up and let it dry out thorougly.
