MXR Carbon Copy Bright or Echo Puss ?

I'm planning to get my first delay/echo pedal.

At the moment I'm thinking of the next two pedals:

MXR M269SE Carbon Copy Bright

Way Huge WHE702S Echo Puss

I know that the Echo Puss has more knobs/settings, and I've read that
you also can get a chorus-sound.

Which one do you recommend, and why ?

You can get sort of a chorus out of the CC if you turn on the modulation switch and put the echo delay super close. The same guy designed both, and from what I've heard from him in an interview, they have a lot in common.
