Those are decent settings.... you can also do a lot of experimenting with how much signal comes from your bass and then how loud the amp is....

Unity gain means "it's the same volume with the effect on as it is when it's bypassed." That is, your bass doesn't get louder or quieter when you step on the pedal.
Well im happy to announce we won in the semi finals at Hard Rock! We'll be playing at the finals on March 31st! I still have some work to do on the compressor/mxr 10 band though....i got it close enough last night but not exactly how i wanted it. Had nothing but compliments on my sound...even through the hartke combo...i sure hope im allowed to use my gk set up at the next gig!
