My 1976 Precision: before and after with pics!

Wow! Nice score.

I am debating whether to swap out my standard Fender bridge on my 2002 Precision for one of the newer Fender HMV bridges they put on the new ones. I love the bass as it is but a simple tweak like that won't hurt value too much, and I'll hang on to the original.

The high mass bridge is a bit of a gimmick. The only high mass part is the back plate and the rest of the bridge is pretty much just like the bridges Fender used on prior American models.

Hmmmm, I guess I just got a slap on the wrist by the mods because someone reported my picture with the Badass II bridge and my hand gesture as offensive. Haha! There are are apparently some very uptight Leo Quann fans on here I guess!

Nice score, man! It's an early '76, clearly, because they downsized the logo later that year. I too have an early '76, stripped, with DiMarzios and a BAII. I'm going to leave it as is for now, but I think the BA makes it less warm.
