My B-50R just died

Hey, I have an Ampeg B-50R here and was practicing through it today. It started squealing - which hit has been doing on and off for a while. Today it went into the squeal and didn't stop til the sound was gone.

Has anyone experienced this or know whether it is an easy repair? I can't imagine I'm the first one this has ever happened to.

Is it still under warranty? If so, take it to an authorized service center.

I'm sure it is out of warranty. It's like 15 years old, and it is all solid state.
