My Back Hurts!

The Eden only weighs 26 pounds. Why put your power conditioner, wireless and tuner in a separate rack. Two lighter racks is better then one heavy one. If you're worried about weight, you should be more concerned with your cabs.

I'm with the OP on the back pain- a previous injury has reared it's ugly head (I had a line array fall on me at a jazz festival) to the point where the doc has given me an electrolysis machine that charges and clips to my belt, so I can do stim anytime/ anywhere when the muscles flip out.
I just sold off the most beautiful 4x15 stereo rig ever. Tried out a bunch of light weight stuff, looks like it'll be the new Mesa Boogie D800 for amplification, and likely some custom neo loaded cabs. Sigh.

not trying to pick on you, but isn't electrolysis used for hair removal?

wow, the dr gave you a portable EMS machine? :jawdrop:

IMG_7162.JPG Not sure on terminologies, its for electrical stimulation. Quite portable, same size as a carbon copy... my eyebrows are out of control, maybe if I turn it up high enough...

The TENS unit is a small battery powered unit that sends a small shock to various points of the back to divert pain attention away from the actual location. My wife has to use one when her back has muscle spasms and she says it works well. Here's how the four electrical delivery pads are placed:

Get yourself a lightweight, high power handling capacity NEO 2x12 that is whatever impedance your WT800 puts its full power output into and put your WT800 in a lightweight, 2 space rack like what SKB and Gator make and you'll be WAY smaller, lighter and still have that killer WT800 sound that you like so much.

Well said, @pbassnut . Two ultralight 212 cabs and the new Eden 500 watt Terra Firma head will rock the house. The Gator or SKB racks also are available with handles and rolling wheels now. No one should have to ruin their one and only back for performance. And the older you get, the more magnified the issue gets.

No need to sigh, there are many great sounding amps and cabs in the lightweight arena. They are lightweight only in physical weight, not in tone.

I'd suggest starting with a call to Don Oatman (LDS).

Is that your wife's actual back, or just a representation of it?
