My ex-wife bought me a bass and my freedom!!!

Interesting to me are those people who see a thread about a recent divorce, and can't not brag about how long you've been happily married. Happily. It smells like denial. "Well I've been married for X years, and I'm happy! See, she lets me own 11 basses. I'm really happy. Happy, I say! HAPPY!"

Of course, I'm just saying it seems that way. Obviously, I'm misreading this. Obviously.

(Tee hee, "she lets me")[/QUOT

Fact.

Typical Talkbass.

Thread topic: how can I get better action on my fiver?

Responses: I don’t use fivers, four strings is good enough, high action is better...

Haha, I'm married with 3 boys, and I can buy anything I want...as long as I willing to take the heat : ) They really should call it the J house instead of the doghouse. Cause I am always in that sucker.

Like, I just bought this lovely lady today

Booooooom

I have currently 41 years of marriage with the same woman. I came to basses late in life, and I currently own over 25 of them. She tolerates this and my love for motorcycles.

The secret of a long happy life is to Marry Your Second Wife FIRST. Think about it, you know what I'm talking about. I went through a string of Barbie-doll, perfect image of my "dream" woman babes as early girlfriends, but I knew they wouldn't have staying power. I ended up marrying my best friend, who happened to be a strong, independent woman who knew what she wanted in life both in terms of her career and from a spouse.

I am truly blessed.
