NASCAR is lame.
it's the "Same ol' - Same ol'" every weekend. drive around for 4 hours then green, white, checker for the win.

Now.... back to when I first got into racing, Richard Petty, Cale Yarborough, Daryl Waltrip, and Harry Gant were the guys driving.
Go fast or go home. A Ford looked like a Ford, a Chevy a Chevy, etc.

Sprint car (World of Outlaws) racing is Badazz!

If you ask any of the drivers you listed they will tell you the current crop of drivers are better then they ever were.
Back in the day there were only 3-4 cars on the track that had a chance to win the race. This coming 500 has about 30 drivers that have a chance of winning the race.
JJ crushed Cales record running agents better cars & drivers then Cale had to.

spec racing.
Put everyone in the exact same car and everyone has the same chance of winning.

Nothing more exciting than the winner of the race being 15 laps ahead! Let's bring back those old days of racing please!

Uuhhhh, im not sure what any of this bs has to do with my op.. but its all been said before and it all flat out sucks.

Anyone that thinks nascar is just a bunch of hicks driving in circles can obviously change four tires, fill a tank of fuel, and do some adjustments.. in 15 seconds.

You probably can't even pop your hood in 15 seconds.
