As of now it looks like Big Blades.

Haha I was actually going to suggest you check out Lace Bassbars. I think either those or the Big Blades would be a good choice, at least in terms of not having pole piece alignment issues to be concerned about. I've never used Lace Alumitones, but from the clips I've heard they have a much more "vintagey" sound than their modern look implies.

Haha. All I know is that I'm always super disappointed when someone does a Ric-inspired build and then installs the pickups in Jazz bass positions.

I have see DR strings makes also 41" scale strings on their HI BEAMS label
