I have an obsession for wood. The musical kind.

Hey All,

Check her out...a 2012 SKB Standard 5 Plus! Sadly, no funds for a sister right now, but this'll do, and I got a DEAL! I changed the knobs, put Elixirs on, and I got the action like butter. The sustain is big, but not overkill, and the low end is MASSIVE, with the clearest and tightest low-B...never had anything like it. This thing's so smooth in a band mix, and soloed, it's a P/J-Bass from Hell...or Heaven....

Beautiful bass, congrats! But be CAREFUL! They are very addicting.....after I got my first one, within six months I am up to three!

Please let me know when you're ready to sell either of the fretted 4's :)

I love the look of that P/J but I'm afraid I would like it as well as the dual soapbars.

Like SteveC said, one is not enough. I need a mate for my Century 5!

Congrats! And welcome to the family :-)

That's a beautiful bass. I've been fiending for a Roscoe myself lately. Are those 2 different tone woods or is it just stained 2-tone?

As others have said, that's all bubinga, and the color variations are natural.
