My first Roscoe!

Hey All,

Check her out...a 2012 SKB Standard 5 Plus! Sadly, no funds for a sister right now, but this'll do, and I got a DEAL! I changed the knobs, put Elixirs on, and I got the action like butter. The sustain is big, but not overkill, and the low end is MASSIVE, with the clearest and tightest low-B...never had anything like it. This thing's so smooth in a band mix, and soloed, it's a P/J-Bass from Hell...or Heaven....

That's a beautiful bass. I've been fiending for a Roscoe myself lately. Are those 2 different tone woods or is it just stained 2-tone?

It looks like a much sexier Cort Rithimic... MUCH SEXIER.

It's a bubinga pommele top over a swamp ash body. That bubinga seems to be used a lot with Warwick.

Nice! Keith Roscoe makes KILLA' basses! And the SKB is definitely the best body shape. I had a gorgeous SKB 3005. If it had been a 35", I'd never have let it go...

Congrats!! I've never owned a Roscoe but they sure look and sound amazing. I love Bart's- I got a Modulus Q-5 with barts in October 2014. Massive b string as well!!

Congrats! I have a pair of Century Standard Plus 5's (fretted and fretless) and they are the best bass I have played - and I've played a pile of basses. The B string is unmatched. They play themselves. The people are amazing. Wait 'till you try a fretless.

One Roscoe is not enough.

I love the look of that P/J but I'm afraid I would like it as well as the dual soapbars.

As others have said, that's all bubinga, and the color variations are natural.
