My fretless conversion (part 2 with sound clips!)

Hi folks,

not quite recently I posted some pics of my fretless conversion from epiphone EB0 (my first bass). recently I picked it up again and changed to roundwouds (didn't get along with the chromes), installed a Dimarzio Model One as mudbucker replacement. It already got an additional 50'ies style p-pick up (non split). As promised long before I did some recordings just to let you know how it sounds. Below you see some pics and links to some sound files. Bass was recorded straight to garage band with no plug ins except some compression to keep as natural as possible. There are several mistakes in the recordings but I didn't bother to get it perfectly, it's just to let you hear the sound (which I think is incredible!), so please nevermind the mistakes :D
I did two tracks, everyone recorded with
1) P ond full and mudbucker on full (plucked)
2)only P (plucked
and 3) P on full, Mudbucker on about half (picked, I found that particularly usefull for rock songs!
What do you think about the sound or am I just crazy?
