Flaked Beans, you are using this opportunity to show off! You own a very nice Gecko 6 and I bet it sounds fantastic! :)

You chose all the right Warmoth parts! drool:thumbsup:

Thanks Mr_O'B and yes, my gecko 6 plays and sounds fantastic indeed! Two piece swamp ash body, asymmetrical quilted maple/purpleheart neck, pau ferro fingerboard, SD basslines active soapbar pickup (at the MM sweet spot)/2 band eq, kahler usa bridge, gotoh japan tuners, schaller straplocks, and it's only 10 lbs! I really love this six string bass!

Your Gecko 6 and GBassNorth's Warmoth has opened my eyes to Warmoth basses. :)

Hmm? So if I assemble a Bass made from all Fender parts, Body, Neck, Bridge, tuners, pickups, strings, strap holders, nut etc., and it won't be considered an actual Fender; Then what is it then? Would it be a Fender if I were an employee at Fender, but put it together/assembled it at my house?
