JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJA, You make me laugh. I tought the people here were people who read, with an universal criteria, not a bunch of REDNECKS, WITH LOST OF HATE AND RACISM IN THEIR MINDS AND HEARTS..... I know the most of the TB´s are good people and maybe you could like guns or whatever, and that´s your taste, but I can´t really take is that a kid from some farm that doesn´t even know where the Venezuela is in a worldmap tell me about 3rd WORLD ...........

This is a great place, and I consider that I´ve found a lot of friends, and some kind of family here..... but when someone threats me like if he´s more than me, With that air of AMERICAN superiority, I can´t be silent.....

Due to the way I was raised, I enjoy and RESPECT guns. I do NOT respect people who cannot handle the responsibility involved in owning/handling them. These people are the ones who give the responsible owners a bad name... and unfortunately, we're becoming outnumbered.

Ok, sorry about the rant.. I'm sure I'll get some heat for this, but I couldn't let the few of us who know the truth go unrepresented.

Oh, at last count.. I believe my immediate family had 75(?) guns Locked up and/or hidden throughout the house. I own 8 of my own, my personal favorite being my Taurus .454 Casull... and yes, I hunt with it.
Last note: We also reload 90% of all our ammo, with the exception of shotshells... they're too cheap to be worthwhile for us.

Just think twice before accusing someone of being a killer by owning a gun. Likewise, think thrice before trusting that ANYONE (aquaintences included) truly respects the weapon he wields, until he's proven it by acting responsibly and endangering no one.

seems to me you can kill animals that you have raised with any tool(knives, bow and arrow...spears even)...for generations before guns thats what people did. why use a gun? your just going to ruin part of the flesh with a bullet.
a little crass I know, but I'm just posing the thought.

I'm against guns 100%(okay fine...I own some water guns and rubber band rifles....so lets make that 99.8%)

Weapons were designed for the real world. Either for gathering certain foods, as well as protecting the "gathered" from those who want to take it by force.

Weapons are also a response to the un-reasonable of the world.

Unreasonable people can get weapons too. That's not a reason to criticize those that appreciate (the designed art form) the weaponry, respect its use to uphold reason, or take them away from the law abiding.

For all the people that love guns...or have big collections:

when it all comes down to it...the purpose of guns is to protect the world from alien invaders.
You should be happy...when the Alien invaders come to take us over you will give them what four!....I personally will just go like sheep to slaughter because I have no defense(Unless you count archery skill....but I haven't practiced in a long while)

I understand your point... but you have to see mine as well. I grew up with guns, not their predecessors.

wrong robot, you say you were into archery...why'd you stop...it's a fun sport..kinda reminds me of golf in the sense that it's all about form and consistencey...I shoot 3-d competetions and an avid bowhunter..I would like to give feild archery a try sometime..

it was loads of fun, I would shoot targets at the hand made targeting range on campus...its since been dissolved and thats primarily why I don't do it anymore, I only did one of those 3-d competitions, it was cool though. My "teacher" is this Giant burly guy that used to work as a bounty hunter and tracker for various organizations. His bow had like 150 pounds tension and he pulled it back like it was a twig...I could barely move it back two inches....it was ridiculous, needless to say he was dead bullseye almost everytime....this guy is a tank.
