Did you pick that up from Guitar Center in Queens,NY?
They have the twin if you didn't for a pretty reasonable price..{but it does say recently refurbished}

Sounds great and yes, something has to go. Eany, meany, miny, mo (picking out which bass or basses to sell)...
Yeah I grabbed that one. It was new, but had been in the store for a while and needed some TLC from being in people's hands while on display. She's in great shape minus a little, minor chip on the top of the headstock and a few very minor scratches. Neck is straight as an arrow and action is SUPER low and buzz-free. Good news is that I live 10 min from Kevin Brubaker's shop!!!

You are going to love that bass. I have the same bass but with the SD soapbars and preamp.
A real swiss army type of bass. Sits perfectly in the mix with a band.

I've only been by a couple of times in the last month or so. Business is good and he's busy... seems like whenever I do go by I can't leave

IME it seems to really help the sustain of the instrument, which is usually at least as good as a neck through, if not better. It also seems to have the sonic attack of a bolt-on... imagine a nice Fender Jazz with excellent sustain.
The neck actually has a tongue that's probably 1/2" thick that's inserted into the body.
