My New In Progress Fretless Pics

Let me be the first to tell you that I am floored by that instrument. It looks absolutely fantastic and very nicely done. Your location is unlisted, where are you located? Im sure someone on talkbass is dying to go and play that thing, I know I am. Once again, amazing job, I love the top, it looks perfect, as do the neck joint and pickup covers. The only thing I would want to change on that bass from a purely cosmetic standpoint would be the bridge; a bass of that beauty deserves something a little more sleek, less boxy.

I really appreciate the comments, thank you :bawl:

Groovecenter what bridge would you suggest? The main reason I used this one is because I had it. I ordered it for a customer who found that it wouldn't work on his bass so I just kept it.

Lyle, I actually have learned by doing. I bought Melvyn Hiscock's book on guitar building but I don't think I use any of his techniques. I have no previous woodworking experience but I've always been able to look at things and tell how they were done. My next goal is to get more and better tools. I may even look into building for other people but I'm not sure yet. I'm going to build a few more for myself first.
