The city of Tulsa is doing a big raffle to benefit St. Jude's right now. We just got the info in the mail yesterday. I had already told my wife this morning that we plan on buying many tickets to support this. (I battled cancer last year.)

All the best to you, Adrian. Know that our prayers are with you, and blessing to Carey for his big heart.

I am kicking this thread to the top in honor of our beloved friend and respected musician, Adrian Garcia.

Adrian passed away on June 9th, 2008 at 1PM with his loved ones by his side.

I will always remember Adrian's loving spirit, kindness and his generosity. He may be gone, but not forgotten.

Rest In Peace Adrian. You will always be a beloved, admired and respected brother.

I, too, was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of a great bass player and human being. Adrian was both of these and much more to everyone who knew him, and he will be greatly missed. I'll always remember our too infrequent phone conversations about bass and life. Even though I could never have reached his level of ability, he was always encouraging to me, and inspired me to enjoy the gift of music in every way possible.

Thanks for everything, Adrian. I'll catch you on the other side.
