My New Studio Build (perhaps overly detailed)

I promised nothing! Please note my careful use of the words 'might' and 'try'Promises promises!
Made a bunch of progress tonight. Had to stop because the next plank extends into the vestibule. In order for that to proceed I have to move all of the stuff in there onto the already installed planks. I’ll get to that starting tomorrow night and then rolling on into the weekend with the remainder of the installation.
Treatment samples are in. These will dictate how, or if I stain the IsoDoor, and ultimately which veneer (blonde vs gray elm) will work best in the space.
Blonde veneer with black fabric was the clear winner.
I haven’t posted a “vacation” photo in a while 
Monster day of rock climbing today. I’m thoroughly exhausted and quite sore, but that won’t stop me from knocking out the flooring this weekend! Tomorrow I’ll clear the vestibule contents onto the already installed planks, and then begin working through the transition between the two rooms. Once that’s established I’ll be able to keep hammering on the main room, and finally end on the eastern half of the vestibule.
In related news, the flooring and treatments colors work close enough with the door that I won’t need to stain it. The color match isn’t perfect (floors and treatments are a little more yellow, whereas the door is a little more red), but they’re close enough to work without being a visual detraction.

Striking a balance is key. About a year ago my office adopted a 9/80 schedule where we take every other Friday off. It affords me 26 more days off every year to go rock climbing, work on the studio, and generally enjoy life. Don’t get me wrong; 9 hour days are significantly more challenging than 8 hour days, but it’s conpletely worth it.Work and play. Excellent.
The cumulative effect of a not perfectly square building and me trying to bridge the door threshold between the main room and the vestibule without changing the direction of the flooring.
I had to uninstall a bunch of already installed planks since my measurements were off and I ended up with a little 2” wide piece on the south end.
Corrected for my mistakes and now have the door threshold bridged, as well as the entire western half (main room and vestibule) finished. All the technical work is done. The rest should really fly.

I have Not I left mine exactly as I received it.
Ignore my previous post. I was so close that I decided to push on and get the flooring wrapped up. Finishing it all tonight, despite wanting to be done well over an hour ago, meant that I can take tomorrow off from studio work entirely without feeling guilty about it. So with that said, the flooring is all finished!
Door contractor scheduling is up next. While that is happening (and waiting to begin for that matter) I’ll work on getting the HRV through the wall and mounted, as well as finishing off my part of the mini split installation. Once those two are done I’ll get the HVAC contractor on board, and get my electrical contractor back out. From there it’s just base trim, door casing, trim caulk and touch-up paint before declaring it finished.as much as you love it when another step is finished, we do as well

Door contractors are balking on the installation of my IsoDoor. The common refrain is that they didn't procure the door themselves, so they can't provide a warranty on the work. I'm guessing the fact that they also don't make a mark-up on the material side of the ledger is keeping them from wanting to do it as well. I'm now searching for a handyman contractor to get it done.
Everyone I've talked to is at least a few weeks out. Looks like I'll be working on the HVAC in the meantime and getting all of that ready for the HVAC and electrical contractors. Either way it's progress!
