I’ve seen that and it’s certainly intriguing. I’ve got plenty of DI boxes and see some value in using the 1/4” TS output, so I won’t be doing any modifications to it for now.

The temperatures here aren't anything crazy compared to what routinely happens in other parts of the country and even the other side of the same state. The difference is that the vast majority of homes here do not have air conditioning. Mine falls into this category. After having a miserable night's sleep on Sunday night into Monday morning I opted to put our camping air mattress in my studio where there is AC. Today my wife decided that the studio was suddenly the greatest place on the planet.

My wife and I have literally been hiding in our RV since last Thursday, because it too has a.c.. I'm hopeful i can return to my house today, where all of my "stuff" resides. We started seeing power flickers yesterday, just a quick "off, then back on", just enough to reset everything, reboot computers and kill all the clocks. I'm guessing it's heat affecting power line insulation, there's been reports of the insulation literally melting off in places. Hopefully you don't run into that too. Stay cool up there man, it's not much better across the county line, but I think we're done with the ugly part. I'm just dreading what August is gonna look like.
My parents still live where I grew up back in Okanogan County. My dad is in Oroville, and my mom and stepdad are between Tonasket and Omak. It was 115-117F for them while we were peaking around 108F. The key difference being that they have AC. I'm heading out to visit them on Monday when it will be 100F, so I'm seemingly going right back into the fire as soon as it eases up here in Seattle

Sometimes these techniques lead to good results. The Beatles used a matching speaker up against an amp’s speaker against the baffle in the studio on Paperback Writer and Rain. The same idea is used to mic kick drums today.
One technique that I’ve used is to take a 12” speaker, place it on the floor with the cone facing upwards and mic that. Nice high end for capturing guitar.
Well, after looking at a bunch of good options and realizing that they’re not available or not shippable to Canada….and after considering the DIY build option, I decided to go with another IKEA desk.
This one a little over foot wider than my existing desk and is electric sit/stand. Getting it delivered tomorrow.
for the rack part of the solution, I bought two 4U Gator studio racks (MDF, not plastic). I’ll set the racks up right on the desk and have enough room for speaker monitors on top of the racks and my iMac in between them.
Both the rack cases and desk are black and minimalist in style. I think it’ll work out well - or at least until I get tired of it in 10-12 years!
That’s very similar to the one I ended up using. Simple and utilitarian but with adjustable height legs. I’m quite tall (6’-6” or 2m for our metric friends) so getting the desk height up sufficiently to be ergonomic eliminated a lot of potentially cool desks. I’ve been happy with mine and hope you dig yours.
Thanks man! I just installed a roll of controllable LED strip lights around the back edge of the desk. Can't wait to see it full effect when it gets dark out! I'm normal sized (6'0"/1.8m) but I like to mix/listen sitting down and perform standing up, especially when on guitar.
Got my sliding 1U racks set up for the Faderport8 one one side and my guitar stomp boxes on the other side. Pretty slick! Been a couple a week and the desktop has remained clutterless. Hoping I can keep it that way!
Need to figure out a solution for my synth (Arturia MiniBrute 2). It's kind of bulky. Also considering a Novation Circuit Tracks. Might have to source a sliding keyboard tray for under the desk for both of them. It's coming together, though!
Having the extra width (63" vs 48") is awesome. I don't feel as cramped.
Test your system with the lights on. Some LED power supplies emit RFI noise that can interfere with the digital equipment.

Can’t seem to get a good picture to capture the vibe, but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out….lights and all!
I share this space with my mancave relaxation area and also doubles as my WFH telecon space.
My Ammo Clip 520 arrived for use with my Shure Green Bullet mic. Works great! I did a quick demo on drums, which is where I’ll primarily use this mic, and it had the intended effect. I wanted a mono overhead placed low (underhead?) to sort of hyperextend transients and provide more length on my parallel Devil Loc buss. Now I just need to start promoting myself so I can book another session to use the darn thing. 
You want my opinion? I don't know why you would, but that generally never stops me.
I would take all of this, arrange it as such, and make that your "landing page" -
Nothing else, just that. Then, take everything under your "Who We Are" section and make it a separate sub-page. Everything under "Customer Reviews" another sub-page. I'd take just this part -
and again, make it a separate sub-page. and then your mix Reel can be another sub-page, giving you a chance to talk about the equipment you use (because some people might be interested to know that you have a vintage mic or whatever). Every sub-page should use the same header logo as the main landing page and the same footer strip with all your social media. So your "Who We Are" page would look something like this -
