My new to me bb3000s story

So last night I show up to my rehearsal and try out my new to me bb3000s that I purchased from Rowka (awesome doing business with this guy. He is super reliable and a great guy to work with)

I also brought my 535 (see pictures of both below). Well my 535 got about 5 minutes of play time, and my bb? well about 3 hours for that one. This bass kills. It is such a wonderful bass. I know that there will be plenty of situations where the 535 is the go to bass, but for now... good lord, that bb is amazing! I don't want to preach too loudly, cause I don't want the world at large knowing the bass players best kept secret, and that being the bb3000 series is absolutely amazing, and cheap to boot (well relatively). Here are pics of both, and I just can't believe how much I love this yamaha... The playability is downright amazing, and the tone is gorgeous.

Thank you guys. Hey Dr. Cheese. I lived near St. Louis for three years and played with a local band there. I miss mississippi nights. So sad that got torn down

I just played a BB3000s identical to the O.P's. It played really well and had a really unique 'syrupy' P-ish tone. I'm not a fan of painted necks, but if I can round up some cash I might be able to overlook that. Cool bass.
