At the moment the Hofner is my number 1, but it's a temperamental ol' girl. I'm going to clean out the nut groove a little more this weekend to see if this helps with some of it's intonation issues. And see if I can eliminate some of scratchiness out out the electronics. I was told you need to be careful as to what chemicals you spray on these old clunkers

However my most recent acquisition project bass may just take over the #1 spot.

This is about the only bass I grab. Ibanez BTB33v. Strung E-C with Daddario xl super lights. Pramp replaced with a Bartolini, tuners are Res O Lites, Dunlop strap locks.

This guy has been my #1 for a few years. It’s just a stock Fender MIA P with a Geezer and chromes. I put a black pickguard on it because it reminds me of my uncles 70’s telecaster.

But no matter what I’m playing, who I’m playing with it just feels like home.
