There it is in its fairly simplistic glory. Yamaha PB-1 -> Carvin DCM 1540L (bridged) -> LDS 15/6 fEarful.
The 1.0v sensitivity of the Carvin really makes it easy to drive. The Yammy can easily over power its input and it gets ear bleedingly loud pretty easily but sounds darn nice quiet too. I'm running around:
2 treble / 7 mids / 4 bass / +4 at 180hz. Makes for a really surprisingly warm tone with the pure solid state PB-1.
The pre is not ridiculously flexible, but it can dial in a little crunch if need be. I expect I will use pedals for any different sounds I need.
