In my 25yrs of playing professionally, I've found that if I follow these simple rules, everything else takes care of itself. I can honestly say that in all the bands and all the gigs, I've never been involved in any band drama. I look at the stage as my office and I'm there to do the job I was hired to do. I didn't get hired to drink or hook up or fight or eat. Now granted I've done all of that, but as I get older I'm learning it's not about that. I keep following the rules and my phone keeps ringing.
