Here's a little indie rock thing I recorded:
I've never really had a recording setup before, although I've recorded stuff on IPhones or in studios and mixed at home. I got a Focusrite 2i2 and a Mic and recorded this stuff on Reaper. I put together the drums on EZ drummer, then recorded bass on my Fernandes PJ through the direct out on my Darkglass amp. The only real processing I did was a little compression and EQ, plus I had a duplicate bass track with all the low end cut out for when I needed to goose the bass a little bit. Then I recorded a bunch of guitars and sang. Mastered by Soundcloud (for maximum low end sludge and hook burial, apparently), cuz I'm classy like that.
