mysterious bass amp

It honestly looks like something I would have built in college. Looks like a good feature set for the time. What does the knob at the extreme right do? I am also assuming the Bi-amp part is tweeter and woofer since there is no speaker out. But hey man, cool little amp! How does it sound?
the knob to the right is a dedicated tweeter volume. the rig sounds really great! i initially purchased it for a roland kit i had. then used it for learning bass. i hadn’t used it for sometime until last week a few buddies and myself from our worship band got together to write some original tunes. our bass player loved it for his p bass and fretless j bass. tried to take it home with him!
that’s when i figured i’d take pics and try again to find answers here.
so far, no solid leads. except a suggestion to open the hood and look around. i’ll do that and keep you all updated. thanks! louie

Post some pictures. I have a hunch that I might know more about this amp, but want to confirm a few things before my confidence is high enough. If so, the backstory is a combination of obscure and not so obscure at the same time.

hi folks,
i purchased this bass tech amp by bass technologies, years ago from a local music store. they could not find any information back then on the net so it was priced crazy low.
it is an incredible combo amp with a bunch of features and sounds great.
every once in a while through the years i check online for any info on it and/or the company. to this day i still have not come up with anything.
now i’m turning to you guys hoping to find answers about this mysterious amp.
so, any ideas?
thanks everyone!
it’s so strange that after all the years i’ve owned this amp, that even now i can’t find any positive information about it. punchdrunk’s suggestion to open it up and shine a light in it is my best option right now. ( thanks punch)
unless someone provides an answer in the next few days that what i’ll do.
if the serial number is relative to the date with the 90 being the year made, then i’m very happy that after all this time everything still works and sounds great.
when i’m in the studio tomorrow i will have that peak and shoot a few pics of anything relevant.
i’ll keep you posted as the mystery continues.

Ha! I have one of these amps! I never ever post here. But I posted my BassTech amp just like yours probably 10 years ago. No one ever heard of these amps. Like yours, mine is a beast, very loud and versatile. I haven't used it in a few years....

I haven’t seen one before.

I’ve still not seen one before. I actually worked on a Bud and Andy Ross “project gone bad” back around the late 1990’s iirc. It was another amp that very few people have seen.

They had a history of designing amps that gained no traction in spite of their success with the original Kustom.

Bud died in 2018 from cancer, Andy is the CEO of American Rebel (a lifestyle brand).
