Heya, my friends dad has this nifty device which allows multiple inputs to one amp, like four guitars leads go into this little black box and then only one cable comes out of it into the amp. I was wondering if anyone knows what these are called, cause my next gig I'll probably need two basses and switching input lead onstange can be a tricky business, as my rhythm guitarist found out. I'd appreciate any info.

DOD makes one also - they call it a resistance mixer, I think the model number is 240. They are $40 or so.

I just bought one of these. It can be used in 2 ways. 2 in-1 out or 1 in-2 out.

The Rolls MX41 is another very inexpensive 4-in 1-out passive mixer. And it's black!

I'm thinking this is probably in the same idea as a mic snake, multiple inputs, one output to run to either an amp or PA(in the case of a snake)
