I had them build a Zebrawood over Mahogany J bass body for a five string fretless build back in the day. Turned out great except for the narrow spacing.

So a friend of mine found this bass in a dump in East Hampton Long Island. And yes it is in dire need of TLC. When I saw the bass and picked it up the quality was unmistakable even in the condition it is in. It has a solid rosewood neck and it is straight as can be. After doing hours and hours of research trying to find the origins of this guitar I've come to the conclusion that it's a Koontz and Thurston. I have not been yet to verify it. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks. PS I am having it restored.
