Mystery moon bass..cant find the model

Its said to be passive, ph style pick-ups..odd headstock and tunners...its on my local buy and sell..

I've never seen a bass like that. All the Moon basses I've seen are Fender copies and this shape is decidedly not Fender-ish. Where does it say "Moon"?
The hardware would suggest it being made in the '70s while the neck really looks like it was taken from a Japanese EB-0 copy.

Thanks this bass still is a mystery..I e never seen it in person and that's the only pic Iv got..
Asking 300 ..I think il buy it and figure out its history after maybe...I dont recognize the bridge either..baffles me

Maybe I'll own it after the weekend and il be able place it...
The more I look at it, the more I'm convinced it's a parts bass with a homemade body. I don't think a manufacturer would purposely prevent easy access to so many of the higher frets, and nothing looks really cohesive. I don't think there's $300 worth of parts there.
Really...might be a good thing the guys not getting back to me
