Thanks everyone for the kind words. Every non-TBer I've told (even my musician buddies) says I need to have my head examined, but with the exception of someday, re-acquiring a Jazz Bass down the road, I think I'm set now. The Peavey T-40 just sold after a whopping 16-hours, and the others will find good homes soon. I feel pretty good about the '66, my '80 Ric, and my fretless P/J as a reasonable setup, moving forward.

As for my wife, after 20 years of my antics, she didn't need to "get it" or need to be "talked into it". She knows I've been coveting an old P for awhile, and the birth-year thing is just too cool.

Yup... the Peavey T-40 is gone after only 16 hours in the classifieds, and my Mac is blowing up with emails on my MIA Jazz 5er and Lakland Duck!

1966 are among my favorite years for P-Basses.
I have a 100% 1996-Olympic White Body, with a 1968-Tele-Bass neck.
