Ok, this thread has my GAS at DEFCON 5! Here is my situation:
I really like the idea of two 4 ohm Two10 cabs stacked (making 2 ohm load) with a Mesa Subway D800. But since I own none of that equipment it would require a cash outlay of roughly $2,800 ..which, like most, I do not have.
Another choice would be a Two10 (4ohm) and a One10 (8 ohm) stacked. As 5StringPocket mentioned, that would be acceptable for the head I already have (MB800) as it would produce 250 watts per side and balance the two speakers (is that REALLY true?!)
Final choice would be two One10's stacked making 4 ohms and allowing the full 500 watts of my other GK head (MB500)
The second choice (One10 stacked on a Two10) has me really intrigued. Has anyone done this yet, and can they give a review?

The 210/110 creates a 2.67 ohm load. Power goes equally to all drivers, not equally split between cabinets. Think of the 210 as two 8 ohm 110 cabs merged together in one box. If your head will do 2.67, then it's a decent option. I've only played a 210 and a 110 but never combined. The 210 can get loud. Adding the 110 is going to cover a lot of needs for many players. If you're in a big doom metal act with three guitarists using full stacks, you're probably gonna be wanting more. If you're in a jazz trio, you're gonna need to be cautious with the volume knob.
The MB heads from GK are rated at 4 ohm minimum load, so you can't safely run that configuration with your current heads.

I run two One10s and a D-800. I like your 2nd choice. However, if you'll always use both One10s, why not get a singe 4 Ohm 210 instead. You may find you don't need any more.
I've been thinking about the possibility of getting a 12 ohm Two10 at some point, so that I could use it either
1) by itself with a pretty powerful amp such as MB800 or D800 (need more power since 12 ohms only gives you 2/3 of the power of an amp running into 8 ohms
2) with my 8 ohm One10, giving me 3x10 with 4.8 total Ohm load or
3) With an 8ohm Four10 giving me 6x10 at 4.8 ohm total load.
Thus I would have configuration options for 1x10, 2x10, 3x10, 4x10, and 6x10, which would be pretty versatile.
Power would be distributed equally to all 10" drivers in these scenarios, correct?

Absolutely will need something like a D800 for the "below 4 ohm" option.
Seriously considering one Two10 to replace my Epifani UL2 410 as it is way more than I need in most situations
I pretty sure now that I am going to go for two One10 cabs. So sure, in fact, that today I put my Epifani UL2 410, MarkBass Minimark 802 combo, and SansAmp RBI on the local CL to pay for it all.

Not to put a damper on things, but I got caught up in the One110 TB raving, so, of course I had to buy one. Cute little guy, that's for sure. But not my sound. I'm not a vintage sound guy. So I sold it and bought a Phil Jones C4, which is not much bigger or heavier. Love the C4. I use it mainly as a rehearsal cab. To each his own...
Sounds like a SM would've been a better fit. Glad you found a cab that works. It's a jungle out there.
No need for an SM - I have two Greenboy F112's for my gigging cabs. I only bought the One110 to use as a portable rehearsal cab.
I wish I could afford to use PJ gear for rehearsing! The Barefaced option appears (and I say appears based on not just TB ravings but BGM and other reputable reviews as well as a keen knowledge of my personal sound preferences) to be the bees knees for me. Of course that's what I thought with Epifani, MarkBass, Accugroove, Acme and all the other cabs I have burned through.
Also, since I have FoH for most gigs, all I really need is some stage monitoring. And let's face it, I'll be hitting 60 soon enough and the thought of two 16 lb cabs sounds like I will be able to continue playing all the genres I love well into my 80's!

As far as weight per volume - you can't beat a couple of One110s. And yes, you should be able to carry one in each hand into your 80's!
