I just recieved the Veyron T, here are my initial thoughts.
Pro's:
I haven't been able to push the amp so I can't comment on it's power. What I can say is that you don't need to crank the volume to get a clear tone (in contrast to my TC Electronic BH250 which sounds muffled on lower volume). I'll report back when I'm able to push the amp a bit
Pro's:
- knobs feel solid
- a single knob compressor that's actually usefull (of course it can't replace a rack unit)
- construction looks and feels solid
- unbeatable price performance ratio (bought it for €300)
- perfect upgrade for my BVP5500
- the sound; nice tube warmth perfect for slap 'n pop (doesn't get harsh or brittle but still open and clear), firm bottom end
- Last but not least, it fits perfectly on my cab, the depth is exactly the same, it looks like the amp was made for it.
- none thus far
