Seems like a cool amp. If there was a way to do a biamp type rig on this, I'd be all over it. Might have to go to the local guitar center and play around with it; maybe I can cop some similar tones with some judicious EQ pre and post distortion.

Yes, 400w to the two internal 10" drivers, and it can drive a second cab (with a switch for 8-ohm or 4-ohm, which would be the impedance of the second cab you are connecting). There will be a matching 2x10 extension cab later this year (which I definitely plan on picking up).

Wow! Such a lot of Fender Rumble Stage 800 love here. All you unaffiliated Rumble owners are cordially invited to join the Fender Rumble Club. There's a very helpful community there, along with lots of info collected in the wiki page in my signature (including an explanation of that impedance switch).
I sure wish one of you Studio 800/40 owners would start a dedicated thread for this series of amps. It’s near impossible to sort through the Rumble thread because in 1500+ pages, the Studio amps alone make up a tiny fraction of a fraction of owners maybe a thousand to one. I’ve been trying to find out more from real users. When I’ve played them, once a 40 and once an 800 both of the store guys were clueless about it. I was wondering if you can layer effects and if you can easily turn them on/off on the fly as easily as a pedalboard. They had no idea how.

I agree and have made this very request several times in the Fender Rumble Club. No takers. There are enough owners that are very technically savvy to author and maintain such a thread. To answer your question, yes you can have up to three effects at once and activate or bypass at will from the floor switch. Plus you can place your choice of effects in any order both pre or post EQ. You can also build your own presets and then put them in a setlist where you can toggle between them. Very sophisticated capability.
Thank you for that Linnin. Sounds interesting but I’m going to have revisit this at a later time. I have a new cab incoming and all that implies. ($$) But I like the concept a lot. What occurred to me was that if the effects in this were good enough, and I hope they are, they should make this a stand alone unit with the internet upgradable compatability. I think they might do well and more competition is a good thing.
All the effects are digital and studio quality. WiFi updates. No computer needed. Fender has already added two more amp models and additional delays and reverbs. More are sure to come. My Studio 40 is killer.

I really love the amp. I was skeptical about the digital bells holding up but I really love it. I can sync with my phone and make changes much much easier than on the amp. With the cab simulations and the other effects, it’s very easy to get any sound you want.
Unfortunately, I have it up for sale along with a Ampeg Heritage cab in order to purchase another bass that has caught my eye. I’m partial to the Stage and will hold on to it if the Ampeg cab sells first.
The Ampeg sold, so I’m holding onto the Stage 800. It’s a very unique and fun amp to play. It will never replace my Darkglass amp, but definitely has its ow place and use.

I played one today and liked it. I can't find any extension cabs that match cosmetically, unless I'm missing something. Love to have a 15" below it.
So far, the Rumble 210 Black-on-Black is the only cab to match the Rumble Stage 800 combo cosmetically.
It's exactly the same size as the Rumble 200/500/800 combos, so they stack nicely. It's also a technical match for the Rumble 210 silver grille, with the same speakers, which are also in the 500 & 800.
However, Winter NAMM is coming in about a month, so it's possible something new may be introduced, since the Stage 800 & Studio 40 will turn one-year-old then.
