NAD - Jansen Liberator 9-180

Not yet - I'm still looking. Best option is probably to wait for a 9-80 Dominator or 9/100 to come up for sale then remove and copy the trem PCB. A 9-80 sold on trademe the other day for $200, but I missed it.

I was using the Liberator and 2x TL-606 cabs tonight at a gig (just winding down now).
It works well and can keep up with two loud guitarists and excitable drummer

I live in Sydney Australia and I own a Liberator. Its tremolo circuit is intact and working well.
I love the amp, the internals have been restored and it sounds wonderful.

Can you post some pics of your amp? You are the only other person that I know of using one.
I've just had the corners of mine rechromed and got new screws to affix them, and I'd like to replace the tolex.
And I'll be getting the power supply caps replaced soon - they're starting to hum.

I've just had the corners of mine rechromed and got new screws to affix them, and I'd like to replace the tolex.
And I'll be getting the power supply caps replaced soon - they're starting to hum.

Webmonster, here are some picks for you. You are not alone! She's pretty rough on the outside but inside she's had a full restoration done, I'm on the lookout for a nice 2 x 12 cab and will clean up the outside one day. A DI has been added as well.

The 90 watt jansen Dominators are a bit more common but still not many of them.
Mine has had quite a few components replaced and is having power supply caps done in a week or so.
I've had the corners rechromed and will get new tolex soon

Is the knobs above the inputs for the DI?

I'm going to have a friend look at a few things meet with me over the weekend and will probably open it up. Will post some pics. The pot top left front is master volume.
