Referencing the OP's inquiry if the brands he listed are "top of the line", that would very tough to answer .. are we talking most expensive, longest lasting, preferred tone, etc, etc?? ... impossible to answer the inquiry, as flats are extremely subjective, as feel can tend to come into play as much as sound, if not more ... tension can vary from very pliable such as the TI's, to something more resembling a steel cable ... I think you can see from the variety of responses, there is no such thing as "top of the line", only 'top of the list' in terms of preferrence, and that could in many cases be one of the lowest cost flats available ... JMHO
