Name for Bass Players

The guy that helps the drummer schlep all his stuff, has extra gear to borrow, drives, buys the first round, knows the songs, brought a tuner, has extra strings(but almost never breaks them), doesn't get loaded(before the show's over)or hit on everyone's GF...
I could go on.
That or *pron star stunt double*

I get called Bottom Feeder and "You are just the bassist! It's like the special cousin of the guitar!" So yeah, I laugh though, take it in good humor. I would love to see a guitarist pick my bass up and do what I do :D

Today I was telling my friend (who plays guitar, and whose dad plays guitar) about talkbass, when his mom said "Are bass players just pretend guitarists?" to which I replied, "No, guitarists are failed 7 string fretless bassists."
