Name for Bass Players

Noticed on many a thread that guitarists are often referred to as, 'guitards'. Now I can only guess that this rhymes with 'retards' for a reason. And that reason being that said guitarists leave a lot to be desired in the personality department.

But what do you call bass players that fall into the same category? Basstards?

Alternative suggestions, plus any examples of ******** behaviour by bass players and no boasting please.

Aside from the high-ego/low-talent combination that is to be found in many musicians regarless of which instrument they (attempt to) play, the most consistently "challenged" behaviour I have witnessed is leaning the instrument up against the amp (no stand) and then walking away. Because of a bass's longer neck and - especially in the case of a Jazz bass - less symetrical shape, this often results in a crash followed by a cracked or broken headstock.

And this is definitely not boasting because I have never been "challenged" enough to do this.
