You number one looks like my usual set-up ... rock solid but really well worn! Lately I've left my 400rb at home in favor of a 200MB as a back-up. alot lighter and also acts as my DI back-up. My 400rb pre-dates DI.For now....
1. GK 800(or400)RB!! Got both and can't decide which I like better?! View attachment 790781
The 400 has better lows and tamer highs, but the the difference is so subtle!
2. The Fender 300PSView attachment 790783
The absolute cleanest, warmest and loudest tube amp I've ever used!! It features a switchable dirt channel/eq, it has alot of features for a 40 year old amp!! I have one of these in storage on the mainland and it'll cost a small fortune to ship due to its 80lbs, but simply a brilliant amp!!
3. SVT2(non-pro)
Very close to the Fender for my tastes/preferences(though they don't sound the same really), I should've never sold it, loud and clean until about 2:00\3:00, then its SVT dirt we all know and love!!
But I have little doubt that my #1 will be this...View attachment 790786
The Darkglass Microtubes 700!!!! I'm a huge fan of their pedals so I have little doubt that this will be the one for me with separate drive/clean channels, I can't wait!!![]()
