Double Bass Naming your Bass? (DB forum thread)

I posted a reply to this thread yesterday not realizing it was the double bass forum. Guess that's why my post was removed.

Yes... sorry. I edited the thread title as a DB forum thread, then deleted posts that seemed to be unintentional postings in a DB thread. I keep forgetting that not everyone gets to these threads on purpose and the titles don't always make the distinction.

Kyllikki. It`s a joke in a way, and my ( now 76 years ) mothers second name. It comes from me living by myself and not beeing married, and people keep on asking if I have my " wife " with me, meaning my bass. Kyllikki is a old finnish female name which sounds funny and dated nowadays. That makes it good name for a old looking big-ass bass.
