The bass I left wanting was a Warrior. Great basses, but very reasonably priced for a hand made bass.

I'm glad to hear Warrior getting some love. Every time somebody plays mine, they are blown away! I know they took some bashing around here (and maybe for good reason), but they are incredible instruments!! I passed over a lot of great basses when I got my Warrior, because it was easily the nicest one (Sadowsky, Roscoe, Dingwall, Modulus, US Spector, Suhr, Lull (it was a close second))

Wouldn't a 5-string Sterling be about the same as a 5-string Stingray? Maybe a thinner neck and smaller body, or something?

This is for James. Stew touched it and so did I. I promise it's not resting on the back of that chair. I'm actually holding it up. I didn't get a chance to play it, but it's a very nice bass indeed. Fred did a great job. I think Stew got a chance to play it a little earlier. Maybe he'll chime in.

I had a great time at the show and got to meet a lot of folks. I'll be putting together a gallery tommorrow.

I don't think Pete was there. I met Tom Bowlus though. I didn't do much walking around. I missed a lot of bass stuff I'm sure.

No, I don't think it had a preamp in it. Looks like it had been refinished or stripped.

Whatever it is, it looks nice. Fender should RI that one. The '75 just isn't the same with the black blocks. I prefer MOP on Maple FBs.

I have quite a few of the Bee stuff.........I'll upload tonight.......Nobody has the one of the fretless with the insane fretboard.......had a strip down the center with lines......

I have a bass that I thought was a MIJ 75 RI and it's Maple with MOP block inlays.
